Hi everybody
I have a modded Auzentech X-Meridian soundcard in my pc (upgraded op-amps, upgraded capacitors, bypassed coupling caps). It sounds way better than stock and far better than any digital way of delivering sound to my home theatre receiver.
Recently, after approximately 4-5 years, the subwoofer channel on the card stopped working. I can use software to swap the centre and sub channels, but then I lose the centre channel.
Is this likely to be fixable?
Or are there any replacement cards that the modding community are all enthusiastic about at the moment? With the X-Meridian I followed a guide posted up by somebody on a forum (it was either this one or AVS Forum) to do the mods.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
