One thing you might want to do is run a backup so that you can at anytime restore to a known good point. I do this every-time I start playing with the registry. It saves reformatting and starting over sometimes.

Windows XP Pro uses QOS, which uses 20% of the bandwidth of the internet connection, the question is, is that an extra 20% of speed, compared to XP Home (which I have) or is the connection of Pro only 80% as fast as that of home?
The only reason I ask... I wanna cram every last bit out of my connection, so if Pro can give me 20% more, I want it
