I am planning to get a PreSonus central station, and need to hook it up to my amp. It has ¼” TRS Active-Balanced outputs. Need to get it to the standard unbalanced RCA inputs on the amps. What cables/adapters are suggested for this?

Also need advice on a decent optical cable between M-Audio Transit and Central Station. (I can only use Toslink with the transit.)

Keep in mind we are talking about a $1000 system (exlcusive of laptop), so I don't want to go overboard or "underboard" with connectors. The system is:

laptop > Transit > Central Station > MG Head OTL III / CanAmp > HD600/K701

Sweetwater also has 1/4 TS to RCA ICs which I have used for the past year with my Presonus Central Station. I just purchased a higher end pair from GrandEnigma here on HeadFi. The build quality is exceptional. Depending on your budget, either will be a great choice. BTW, nice call on the PreSonus CS, a real find IMHO.
