I am looking to purchase a pair of headphones to replace my pair of broken Shure SE 210.

My first question is, which of the flowing headphones would you recommend that I buy on sound qualitie alone, taking price out of the equation.

Westone UM1
Ultimate ears super.fi 5
(any other recomendations in same price range?)

My second question is, if i could afford it, is it worth paying the extra to buy the Super.fi 5 Pro in terms of sound quality.

well the super fi 5 pro is being discontinued so im not sure if it would be worth it to get them and apparently they are no longer selling the cables for them

also if u are looking at um1 u might consider westone 1 but theres not many reviews about them yet as they are fairly new

the new 5's arent really that good. If you go for ue get the old pro ones, you can still pick up cables outside.

cheers, i think ill prob go for either the UM1 or the westone 1 but i cant decide which. is it worth paying the extra for the westone 1 or are they just the UM1 in a different shell?

You should indeed consider Westone 1 if you have UM1 on the list. They seem to be quite good according to reviews I've read on here.

SF5 Pro will be better than UM1; bassier and more engaging. Don't know about the SF5.
