Ok, so not only have I been dealing with a broken M50 I can't use anymore, I've also suffered from money issues.
I'm looking for help on finding a good list.
I need peopl to help me put together a list of cans for under $100 that are easily moddable, and won't cost an arm and a leg.

The main can I were looking at were the Beyerdynamic DTX710.

Feedback needed.

I wonder if a used HD 558 may be a place to look (?). There is a whole series of threads on modding the 558 on this site--not that I know anything material about those mods, personally (I own the 598 rather than the 558). Still, you probably know all about those, but it is a thought, if you're looking at sub-$100 cans that are moddable.  Some of the Superlux also come to mind, including the 681B and 681 Evo and the 668B and 661 or 662 (for closed options). These also are moddable and there are threads discussing many of those mods on this site. I am sorry that your M50's aren't working. I wish you luck in your quest!!

Any other lists you could post?
I'm working up some money, and was wondering how I could mod these, what else is available, and so forth.
