Dear members,
 
I have my classic Grado RS2 (in fact, I have 3 pairs of Grado RS2 ). Unfortunately, one of them (and my favourite one) had problem that the left channel suddenly stop. I asked a fellow here to check if it was the cable error, but he said no and he thought it was the driver. I also emailed to Grado to ask to repair, but they said that in the case related to driver, they just replace both 2 drivers to new ones. However, I love mine and don't want to change to another drivers. Would someone here could know who can repair (fix, or even mod ) the driver(s) of this headphones? If yes, please let me know here or by PMs.

I suggest you to send to Grado. If it's a cable related problem they'll charge like 25$ and if it's a driver problem they'll change both to match the balance.

I've also contacted to Grado and they said as your guide. However, as I said in the request, I need to use the original drivers, so is it possible to fix or even modfify in case there is problem in the driver(s)?

The thing is, you might have some troubles finding another head-fi member with a broken driver who decided to keep them at their current state. You can always try of course. Fix or modify drivers is out of the question, the results are usually worse...
