Hello,

I would like to ask for your help in selecting my new set of phones.

The characteristics they should have are:

  1. To be comfortable (this might be very subjective, I know, but give me you opinion) as I will use the for long periods of time;
  2. To be durable (cables and specially connections should be resistant) as I am not the best owner for my gear;
  3. To be noise insulating (I will use them to be able to focus while working in busy places);
  4. To be portable.

The sound should be crispy (I mean I am not really a lot into heavy base) and light. I don't know if this is an accurate descriptions but it is what comes to mind. I listen mainly to pop/rock/indie music.

Now this would be all easy to achieve if I did not have budget limitations. I am looking for something around $50.

I was thinking on this ones:

Brainwavz M2

Keep in mind that they do not need to be earphones. They just need to be portable.

Any suggestions, knowledgeable people?

All the best and thanks for your time

I am also looking for perfect headphones (if there are), but it is literally never ending story.

 Anyway, I also would like to hear some suggestion fitted with your four criteria.

These also seem to comply with most of the needs I expressed:

Thinksound TS01

They don't seem to be very resilient though...
