Been reading some more on this forum and that makes it pretty
hard to decide on an amp...And cans First I thought about buying a Corda Arietta, nice looks, good price and Natural Crossfeed Filter.. Then I started reading about the Heed Can Amp... Then I red about the Graham Slee Solo..

Music I like; natural, detailed, fast, not too bassy, good overal balance.

Styles, almost everything, but mostly Funky, Jazzy stuff (Marcus Miller, Incognito, George Duke etc.), Blues (Mighty Sam McClain), Fado etc, no
classical to mention.

Within my budget I now need some decent cans and amp that can reach my expectations and musical taste. I prefer open cans. I don't like HD600 & 650
too laid back for me, I tried it in combination with MF Xcan3, way too slow, muddy and bass focused for my tastes.

Have been thinking about: K601, DT880 Manufacture, ATH-AD900 etc.

Please give me some input.... don't know where to start....

This (silence) is what happens when you say bad things about the HD650.

On a more serious note, how do you feel about the Grado sound? Perhaps the MS-2i would fit your preferences.

Dídn't want to offend any HD600 & 650 fan, I also like the phones but not paired with the MF Xcan3.. I think Grado is too up front for me.

More input is highly appreciated..
