My iPod's and Walkman's so far are pretty big, and I sometimes get tired lugging around the Z or the Classic or even the smaller E's around; want something a bit smaller.

My very first mp3 player was a Samsung YPU2 stick player so I adore the form factor hence the Sony B183/B173, and no cables too. The Shuffle certainly looks small for what it does.

Biggest differences are the Sony's radio, MP3+WMA only and 4GB memory. The Shuffle has 2GB, no radio and MP3/AAC support.

Any of you guys tried both of these bite-sized players and thought which are pretty good? Any help would be great..

If you want small, get a Sansa Clip+ or Clip Zip. Excellent sound quality rivaling much more expensive DAPs. Then get a big microSD card for it to store your music collection :D
