Hello everyone!
I want to DIY a lineout cable for my SONY NWZ-X1050, but Who knows the definition about its lineout port pins?
It's better to post the pins-picture here.
Thanks a lot.

hi yeah but artne there two different types of lineout ,

lineout powered by internal source
and

lineout powered by an external source

if its the latter you need a dock

am i right here??

You don't need to power the dock for the line out, if you do it won't make any difference apart from charging the X's battery. When you sit the X in the dock the volume goes to max and the control is bypassed.

Using the line out from the dock results in better SQ than the headphone out, it has more resolution and sparkle. Use mine in the car and it sounds superb.

well, provided it doesnt require any fiddling with resistors and such for the dock to be recognized, it should be fairly simple looks like 14 = left 17 = right and either one of the ground pins 1,5,18 or 15 whicgh seems like it could be labeled AU_COM which could be common ground or some sort of control line for volume. looks fairly easy to add USB charge/synce as well, this is all provided sony hasnt made it require some sort of handshake to identify it as an official sony dock

good luck
