I've been thinking about buying some Genelec 8010a's to replace Audioengine A2's on my computer desk. Casual listening, gaming mostly. The 8010 seems like the only option to get decent sound in such a small box. High WAF is crucial. The A2s just don’t do it for me, not to mention I can’t place my phone on my desk without getting constant feedback. Even with my phone on silent in my pocket, if I get a text or email, the A2s will give a little buzz. Pretty annoying. 8010a at Thomann Music for $220 each. Confident I could get a local price match. Any better options?

massdrop x-jbl-lsr30x, probably not as small as you would like but amazing set of computer speakers with inputs and amp built in. Very neutral sounding but fun too!
