Hi everyone,
 
I am trying to get myself a pair of speakers in my bedroom (which is relatively small). They will be driven by a NAD C320BEE amp. I have about $400 budget and I am having a hard time choosing speakers. I listen to pop and rock stuff.
 
A pair of Focal 705v or KEF Q100 seem pretty good. Any ideas?
 
I also need a pair of 1.5m speaker cables under $100. Can you guys recommend quality cables for my budget? If you want to sell yours feel free to PM me

Both of those are nice speakers. You might also look into speakers from Internet direct brands HSU, EMP Tek, and Ascend Acoustics.

For speaker wire, 12 gauge, oxygen free pure copper is all you really need: http://www.monoprice.com/Category?c_id=102&cp_id=10239 And then not really 12 gauge unless you are running the wire a long ways. Sewell Pro banana plugs (check Amazon) could be nice for hooking things up, but not necessary. Bare copper wire works just as well.

Put the rest toward better speakers instead of spending money on wires which won't make a difference. Or save for a sub so that you get better bass

I would honestly recommend against the monoprice speaker cable. I bought 25 feet and it didn't take long for them to turn green.
