Hey audiophiles, I'd already asked questions about speakers and got some good response but I would like some more opinions. I've narrowed myself down to two options, but I'm still open to suggestions.

1. 4 Polk Audio TSi100 : Decent bookshelf speakers by Polk Audio ($140 + $50 shipping/pair on eBay : $200 MSRP)
Polk Audio CS10 : Mid-Range center channel speaker by Polk Audio ($115 + $42 shipping on eBay : $200 MSRP)
Polk Audio PSW110 : Mid-Range sub by Polk Audio ($175 + $67 shipping on eBay : $250 MSRP)
Cheap Yamaha/Onkyo 5.1 Receiver (Don't know yet) ($100 - $500)

2. Magnepan MMG : Cheap Ribbon Speakers ($600/Pair)
Polk Audio PSW110? Or different sub. ($150 - $300)
Receiver or Amplifier (Don't know yet) ($100 - $500)

As you can tell, I don't have the biggest budget but it seems like Polk Audio and Magnepan are pretty trustable speaker companies.

I'm going to be using these speakers for my TV and computer. PC Gaming, Movies/TV, Music. I don't make music or anything but I might fool around in Fruity Loops so I don't need super great speakers, but please, ask questions, ask suggest other setups if mine aren't the best I can get for my money

In general, thew Polk Audio combination is fine as in your list.Unless you prefer better & spacious soundstage, go for the Magneplan MMG (if possible, get the matching center speaker as well (if you choose Maggi). You can't really blame this forum for not getting much posters on your topic as that mostly are in headphnes rather home hi-fis or home theater. Other speakers you may consider like eg, PSB, Paradigm, Dynaudio, etc. Don't forget to add about 20-30% budget for cables from your total amount.
