Was at Frys yesterday and saw a couple Panasonic flash MP3 players.

They were small-ish, 512M ($89) and 1G ($130).

AAA battery
expandable memory, via card-slot
line out jack (!!!)
Windows explorer drag/drop interface
Standard LCD screen (no color display)

It was black with silver buttons, and feature-wise reminded me a lot of the RCA Lyra players. They are very "angular" and square... not the jelly-bean look at all. should be easy to piggy back with a small amp via velcro.

It had a goofy Alien pictured on its front.

Anyone know anything about these.. the good, bad, ugly? Unfortunately I don't remember the model numbers.

Thanks... all comments appreciated.

Did a search for this player and stumbled upon this thread. I have the same question - Anyone have any thoughts on this player? 1GB Alien can be had at Fry's for $119.00
