Hello,

Need a bit of assistance for my headphone sistem. Currently i posses SOny MDR-XB700 and a motherboard with AC 1150 + Fiio E09K+E17 combo. The question is the following - Will Titanium HD be an overkill or will it give any improvements at all to the sound quality?
Secondly, Is it worth buying the old Hi-Fi Fatal1ty FPS (2005) soundcard?

if your main priority is gaming, then you can get advantage of a soundcard's surround dsp algoriythms like CMSS, dolby headphone. otherwise dont bother with a soundcard.  may be if you can upgrade your headphone before worrying about soundcard/amp, then you can see better results.
