i just got my image s4 today and i don't really find the stock ear buds comfortable. can any1 recommend me some ear buds to try?

I prefer the Comply Foam Tx-100 ear tips. Alas, they're so popular they're sold out on both Amazon.com and Comply Foam's own online store.

whats the diff between olives and comply? so far i only heard that olives last longer than complys

I found the Olives to be a bit too long. Grey Ety biflanges meant for the Er6i worked best for me.

Olives last alot longer, they're more comfortable (IMO), sound slightly better, and they're washable.
