Hi guys,

I bought a Meier Prehead-1 a few years ago in the U.S (so it's 110V version). Recently I just moved to mainland China where the voltage standard is 220V. I need help on the technical details of the amp, such as the maximum output or current in order to choose a proper current converter to safely run my amp.

I appreciate your help!

As long as you keep the voltage input of your amp stable at 110V, everything will be fine.
However, if you live in an area where voltage crazily jumping up and down, you need a good converter can deal with that situation which is a little more expensive; the choices are variable, and I better let a tech guy answers it

Hello Bismark,

If you have some soldering experience then it's very easy to convert the amplifier from 110V to 220V! Just send me a mail at meier-audio@t-online.de for technical info if interested.

Cheers

Jan
