Hello everyone,

I've just joined Head-fi and was wondering if someone could help me with my current set up I'm using for my laptop.
Right now I'm using a Logitech 2.1 set for movies and YouTube and a home cinema for music.
I'm connected to my home cinema via a Bluetooth adapter which is connected via Bluetooth (obviously) to my laptop and via a 3.5 mm jack to my home cinema.
I've been searching online for something I can connect to my laptop which allows me to have an optical audio output and a long optical cable.

Has anyone got a solution?

Google for "USB to optical" - there are converters for about 20 bucks that will do the job.

Or you could just get a M2Tech HiFace, and call it a day. That's coax, but still digital.

I've searched eBay and I may have found something.
I also looked for M2Tech but thats a little over my budget.
