Am currently using a ipod nano 6g with a custom lod and pico slim. Am actually looking to upgrade my source without wasting my investment made on my pico slim and lod.

Am currently deliberating between the Ipod Classic 160g or a ipod touch 4g 64g. Do not need any bells and whistles functions wise, just need a good source and portability helps too.

Or should i wait to see if apple is refreshing their line for this year?

I am actually comfortable with itunes as much as i would to deny it.

Thanks

*edit - am now actually thinking about the imod but its $650 for a refurbish ipod 5.5g essentially, plus no telling how long it would last"

ipod classic 160gb is great. And also rockbox works on it now, if you dont want itunes that is.

I think the touch is too flashy, classic is purely for music lovers really.

classic is cheaper, but i could use a wifi capable device to surf thet net sometimes to relief the load on my smartphone
