Folks, sorry if this is unusual. I'm new here and I really don't know who else to ask.
I'm building my own DAC to use with headphones and I am desigining everything, circuit, enclosure, etc. I would like to have a giant knob like several products have on the market. However, I would like to not have screw mechanism to secure the knob in place.
The only two big knobs I know of are the Naim one, which is impossibly complex and the ACRO L1000 one. I'm pretty curious as to how the L1000 secures a big knob in place without a screw mecanism.
Question: is there anyone who would be willing to unmount the knob of their precious L1000 and snap a few pictures? I'd appreciate deeply if anyone can help!
I also understand if I don't receive replies. This is very unusual and the L1000 is quite pricey.
