Hi everybody,

For these last days, I have been in love with my Portaphile V2^2 maxxed out, but now I have new needs.

I need a longer battery life as I'll be on the move more often, and a DAC as I will have my computer everytime.
Now I'm hesitating between two amps: Doc Meier's 2Move or Graham Slee Voyager. As Pound conversion in Euro is not bad, I'm considering the Voyager.

Now battery life is the most important feature for me.
As the 2move annouces 100hrs or so, and as it is the cheaper, it takes the advantage.
But if the Voyager is such a killre in sound, as oicdn is stating, I'll reconsider my desicion.

I need some people's experience : does battery life announced by Doc is confirmed ? Does Voyager is strong enough for a everyday use ? and more.

The phones I will use are Ultrasone Proline 650.

Thank you in advance for any of your opinions, advises and experiences or experiments.

Hi Adrien

I have a Voyager and I love it. I've used it with Proline 650's and now use
it with Proline 750's. Both phones are a superb match for the Voyager and
highly recommended!

You will get around 50 hours of use with the supplied battery.
The Voyager casing has been the subject of much debate here
but it's very tough and looks and feels alot better than the photos
may suggest.

I'm currently waiting for a Lisa III XP to arrive but will not be selling
my Voyager.

You did mention you wanted a DAC and of course the Voyager does
not have a DAC.

I can't comment on the 2Move but I had a Headsix for a few months
and while it is a very, very good amp, it's not quite in the same league as
the Voyager.

If you REALLY need a DAC, then go for the 2Move, you won't be disappointed.
If a DAC is not so important then go for the Voyager - you will love it.

Good luck with your decision.
Mike
