Hi guys

I have had this a little over a month and are interested in if the output in the back(4.4mm balanced) is FIXED. When I look at the spec it says so:

Does this mean it is like the ZEN DAC it plays at a fixed max level? - is it like DAC output without amp?

I would really appreciate some more understanding on how this device works.

EDIT: The reason I am asking this question is, that I wanna test the iFi iCAN Signature on it to see if its actually a better amp. I didnt like iFi iDSD Signature(V1), diablo sounded better to me.

Yes, micro iDSD Dibalo's 4.4mm balanced output (the one on its rear) is fixed, so it outputs a line level signal not subject to volume control.
