If you want a new pair of IEMs I would recommend the Klipsch Image X10, with my experience they isolate VERY well due to the deep well formed seal in your ear.

I think I'll stick with passive IEMs... But the problem is the link you sent me was a 100 odd $ IEM... Too expensive

They are Audio Technica so I would thing they can survive day to day use, as long as you do not abuse them by doing such things as throwing them around and pulling on the cords. I believe they are covered by Audio Technicas warranty as well.
 
They require 1 AAA battery, from what Ive read they can produce noise cancellation for more than 15 hours off a single battery, I imagine if you use them heavily a large pack of AAAs will last you around a month or two. If the battery dies they can still be used, the active noise cancelling just wont work. Id say they are your best bet, for only $60, $20 off MSRP Id say they are a good buy.
 
If nothing else that I suggested you can always try the Isolation Comply Foam Tips for the JVCs you already own. Or wait for the price on the Image X10s to go back down to below $90.

futuresonic atrio x. some people dont like the sound. i think they sound just fine.

the seal is among the best. same as shure / etymotic / westone. wire over the ear design (which is the best), deep insertion and sealed housing. they are exactly what you want except maybe if you end up not liking the sound. i think they sound pretty balanced. the build is good as well. dogs claw the cables and yank them out of my ears all the time. still going strong at a year and a half.

The Ultimate Ears UE600's isolate very well in my ears (worn up), are very low profile so you could even wear something over them if they alone were not enough (you can definitely sleep in them), sound great, comfortable, and won't break the bank. 
 
They don't isolate like the Etymotic's, but sound much warmer with nice balanced bass, forward mids, and a great high end.  The bass is very nice especially for a single BA, not bassheady, but definitely there.
 
They are to be worn over the ears, but specify wearing down as well.  I think they sound better worn up though, a little more detail in the highs to my ears.
