Dang, and I was just about to pull the trigger on those DN-1Ks
So if I'm understanding you correctly, the big problem is that DN's are too warm on in the mid-low spectrum? I think I may agree with you if that is the case, as given the choice I usually prefer the lower mids to be very neutral (though not FLAT) and not "full" as it leaves metal sounding bloated or compressed.
So based on that, I'd expect this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AB_zVyuAEDk&t=16m34s to sound better on the H-200s, and probably this too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhQhH2VJfw0
However does something more produced like this https://soundcloud.com/simym3/nightwish-planet-hell, or something with a bit more soundstage like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-bCRpP4uaM&t=6m15s still sound better on the 200's in your view?
