I have a Little Dot MK IV Special Edition that I purchased in late 2009, and have been in love with it.
Recently one (or more) of the tubes burnt out, so I need some replacements.
I have no idea where to start.
I know I will probably get more Gold Pin 6H30Pi power tubes, since that seems to be just about the only option.
I don't know what I want to try for driver tubes, but I'm open to suggestions.
I like bass-heavy music... I listen to a fair amount of rap/hiphop, rock, but also finer-tuned music like classical and jazz. i want something that's an all-around great performer, without being TOO sharp or bright, and if anything a bias toward the bassy-end of the spectrum.
Can you help recommend me some tubes? Even better, could you LINK me where to buy them?! I have never bought tubes before so any and all help is much appreciated. A lot of the threads pertaining to this subject are so old, so I'd like some fresh input. Thanks!!
