When I was about 13 (1984) I bought my first senns. They were portables. Thin metal shiny silver headband. the earcups and plastic parts were metallic silver. they were open-back, and the earcups had these vertical slots cut out of them. Looking through the vertical slots you could see the metal mesh screen and the back of the drivers. Earpads were thin gray foam, but they came with a back-up yellow pair.
The were not foldable, but they were roughly the size of an unfolded PX100.
The earcups were a typical snap-in ball/socket affair.
They were made in germany.
Does anyone remember the model # for these? Im pretty sure they were a lower end HD-something or other.
Does a sennheiser product archive exist? Either a fan-site or official senn -site?
Thanks,
Garrett
