I've learned quite a bit from our Newton's laws. I would prefer to use law #1 and avoid the #3.

IMHO, It does not help in every situation, but it would relieve a lot of frustration when you can walk away from non-senses.

nothing terribly BAD i guess.. i mean, personally it seems like this collegue has a reputation for taking power trips to another level. it almost seems like they are doing it intentionally just to piss people off sometimes, and for the most part i'm an easy target for this person because i'll pretty much talk to anyone, and i don't think this person gets much attention to be honest.
i do like that analogy to newton's laws though.. should be something to ponder..
