Help me find some Chamber Music!

Ten really great Chamber Music pieces to check out.......

1. Beethoven - the Final String Quartets (usually comes as a boxed set)
2. Brahms - Piano Quintet
3. Schubert - Death and the Maiden String Quartet
4. Schubert - String Quintet
5. Dvorak - Piano Quintet
6. Brahms - Clarinet Quintet
7. Mendelssohn - Octet
8. Schubert - Trout Quintet
9. Shostakovich - Piano Quintet
10. and if ur brave....... Bartok's String Quatets (comes in a 2 CD box)

Thanks for the recommendations.

I really like The Oboe and Harp combo, it works very well.
I have a Debussy Chamber music set thats pretty rare, I like it a lot too. I might have to get that one as well.

The piano quintets are nice, and I also like the Shubert- Trout Quintet very much.

Though overall, I'm looking for something even slower than many of these, and a more laid back. A little more atmospheric, adventurous, and emotional.

The closest of the bunch so far is the Harp + Oboe, this is what I'm looking for.

This is not what I would call chamber music. It sounds like the stuff they play at the health spa when I get a facial or a therapeutic massage. Try going to one of the New Age Music sites like New Age Music. There's plenty to select from there.
