Hi guys.

I need a new dap but cant find one.
I like the cowon s9 but it doesnt play aac which is a must for me.

I want superb sound quality since I am using triple.fi earphones. I have my music in mp3 and aac.

Now the sony mz-rh1 attracts me but I am not shure about that.

Btw, I am on a mac so ums is a must.

The obvious choice would be an iPod.
Either an iPod nano, iPod touch or an iPod Classic. Depending if storage capacity or size are the most important.

yes I know iPod is the obvious choice. But I have an iPhone already so there is no need for an ipod. I just need a dedicated DAP that gives me audio-bliss everywhere I go.

As said, the S9 looks promising, the only thin keeping me from buying it is lack of AAC. Now I've picked up that this is solved in some Beta FW??

Can anybody confirm this??

Now ipod's are decent and all, but I want something more exciting, like the S9, or maybe the Spinn??

Wait for Sony's X1060! It should be out by next month in the UK. It has an OLED screen and supports AAC.
