Hi,
I've been using an Asus Xonar STX with a Sennheiser HD 650 and a Denon D2000 for 2 years, and despite I really like how they sound together I would like to upgrade the sound card to an external unit.
I'm not a guy who likes to change equimpment often, so I plan to buy a good dac+amp combo and use them with my headphones for years to come...
My music is still on my PC and I'm not willing to change, so I need a dac/amp with usb in, or a dac with a separate amp, I found a lot of similar threads, but none of them answered my question, sorry if this has been already asked.
I don't consider myself an audiophile I just like to lost in music, I listen to quite a wide range of music and my budget is around 500$.
In this price range I think a solid state amp is a more realistic choice.
Here are the possible choices I found after reading a bit:
Yulong D100
Little Dot DAC_I + Little Dot MK V
Matrix mini-i + Matrix M-stage
There are probably more options than 3, but I found these myself.
Suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
