Im looking to buy some new headphones, my HD580s are getting a bit long in the tooth (over 3 years old now) and I'm looking to try something new.
I have been quite happy with my HD580s so HD650s are a natural upgrade path but I'm not convinced to get these just yet. Im also looking at Beyerdynamic DT880s and AKG K701s. Anything else I should look at?
Perhaps something with a touch more bass would be nice.
Something from Grado perhaps? I have never found any headphones built in the style of Grados design comfortable though, so that puts me off buying them.
Id like to put an upper price limit of about $350 USD on them so keep that in mind, I dont have the budget for $1000 cans just yet.
Im going from my PC (Xfi) -> Musiland MD10 -> Corda Headfive right now if that makes any difference to anyone.
