Hi all
 
I'm a newbie in the can world but well experienced in audio world.
I'm listening mainly to jazz, blues and classical.
 
I have an Original Master headphone amp i bought several years ago but haven't used since.The cans will be used just from the amp and not with any sort of portable device.
 
My research in the $300 open headphones led me so far to 3 names:
 
AKG k701 or q701
Beyerdynamics DT990 250 ohm
Sennheiser hd598
 
Needless to say that beside sound quality i need a convenient pair.
