I personally like Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Paul Oakenfield etc. Finding new names is difficult, one really doesn't want to spend money on something that sucks and there is so much electronic music to explore. To my (and others') enjoyment, some of the great music is available online and for free.
Check out www.hybridized.org, I found some new DJs that I like. Hybrid, Way out west (Team of DJs), Shiloh, Nick Warren, etc.

Some of the sets I recognize immeadately as being my favorites:
