Help me choose which wood to get for my HHF-1

I picked the wrong one in the poll, but I would have chosen Cobobolo too. Beautiful finish on that phone of 1911's!

Wow! I didn't realize how nice that cocobolo looked until I saw it! I would go with that, or the maple.

Speaking of which, these time consumers left the bench yesterday. The first ~Koa~ Grado's (PF-1's with Koa C-Pad flats) and Koa HP3000's

please peeps...those are not my cans but jahn's waiting for him to pick up....it makes me feel bad if they are referred to as mine....plus, jahn told me larry's brother who lives in redding is gonna get me if i sit on the cans too long...hahahahaha....jahn was the one who decided on all the features and between larry and jahn they created one helluva can...it is simply gorgeous in person and so light on the head..unbelievable. i really dug mjg's ebony but after seeing the cocobolos...i have to go with them.
ps yellafella...sorry about not getting back to you about the measurements....i dont have a ruler nearby....perhaps larry could clarify how wide the diameter is of the wood plug at the end?

*Exactly* If only I'd had the extra money to spend. I really, really love the look of those Darth HHF-1's! I'm not that disappointed though. The deep woody Zebras will be equally nice. Apples and oranges. I know you'll do an awesome job for me Larry.

I asked larry and he said that they all change because every plug is different, and depending on the wood it can also change as well for strength. I asked you for the diamater of the wood plug because you're the only person I know who has a cocobolo hf-1 w/ wood plug. Haha, don't worry about the measurement though, I don't think it'll really affect my decision.

I've used bloodwood in some applications before and it is an absolutely gorgeous wood. I would recommend it simply on that. But red is my favorite color so I'm biased. The maple also looks very nice, but I might to with the same wood as the headphone is made out of to match. That would look slick I think.

Oh gads: C-pads or no C-pads, Black screen or silver screen, yellow Senns or black bowls, what color and style of cable, velour or pleather or whatever in whatever color, number disc or no disc?

What wood goes best with a question mark??!!

Arrrrrrrrgh!!

So many choices, so little time!!

My head is spinnin' and it's not even my decision!!

Between the two, I like the darker color tone of the cocobolo. For some reason the zebra makes me think of cookies. I also think the maple looks pretty trick daddy.
