Hi, I did some digging with the DAC USB I'm going to buy and need to choose between Meridian explorer 2 and Geek out. Both cost the same $199, and I don't care the range of 32bit because I don't know where to get it.
Most of my music files are CD-rip and 24bit.
I use B&W P7.
Now, I just want to sure which one would be better for me . As far as I know, Explorer 2 is getting positive reviews, a good start for a new release. And also the Geek out has a lot of positive impressions, too. So as a newcomer in DAC, I need your help. Please, help me choose between these two-positive DAC USBs.
Ps. Explorer 2 has dual Xmos DSP processors. Does this make things much better? Or is Geek out's DAC is enough.
Are they both class A DAC. Not sure with Explorer 2
