Hi!

I'm looking for a new MP3 Player. I've already read loads of reviews about Sony, Samsung, iRiver, Archos, Cowon and almost every player has it's pro and cons. Now I'm confused and can't decide...

My new player should be able to/should have

1. work with my Mac (transfer files via finder)
2. good soundquality (going to use good headphones)
3. play mp3's by folder structure
4. about 8 or 16GB

Is that too much to ask for?

I'd really like to read some of your recommendations, that would fit my needs...

Cheers,
Matt

1 - D2
2 - i7
3 - sony players will allow folder view and
work well w/mac.
4 - Samsung players will show as drive letter

All sound great.

Having no need for video*, I love my iAudio 7 (16Gb) for everything except the ease of inadvertently touching its next and play/pause buttons. This especially sucks when you're in the middle of a podcast... and pretty much means you need to use hold all the time. It does have a seemingly required feature, though: a hold mode where the volume controls (real buttons on the top) still work.

I still occasionally switch to the next song accidentally even after a couple of months of use (usually when I'm powering it up or down, of course.)

* (even though it does do some video on that tiny screen...)
