I'm using Windows XP, Foobar.

I've connected a HotAudio USB DAC, which goes to amp, headphones.

I've gotten to the "master volume" section in Windows. Select the USB DAC as the mixer device. When I click on the "speaker" volume now, I hear the beep from the system through the usb dac -> amp -> headphones. But I cannot hear the music from Foobar.

If I switch the mixer back to the onboard Realtek device, I then hear the Foobar music through the laptop speaker....not my USB DAC.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
