Which headphone amp ( < US $1,500 ) would you recommend with a Rega jupiter cd player and Senn HD 600 headphones. I mainly listen to Classic Rock and Blues. I've read mixed reviews about Musical Fidelity X-Can V2 and MG-Head OTL. Is anyone familiar with HeadRoom the line (i.e. headroom home, headroom cosmic, or headroom max).

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I have the headroom maxed-out and it works beautifully with the HD600. But since I haven't tried any dedicated headphone amps by other companys, I can't say if others are better, only that headroom amps seem to complement Senn's sound very well - they prefer that headphone over most every other. Also, I have never heard a bad word said against upper-end Headroom amps teamed with Senn600.

When it comes the the HD-600s, and tubes you will either **** yourself in disbelief, or puke in disappointment.

I shat myself in disbelief. I heard 580s with Cary 300SEI. I creamed my pants!
