Last October I was on a flight with Frontier Airlines and was watching their free TV. There was a music video of an African American band, but I never could get the band name or song title. It was a bluesy big band swing thing?

I know odd request but if anyone knows anything I would be greatful.

was it black performers, or was is like more traditional african music

Black Performers. I know it was pretty general, but that is all I have.

how old did the big band look? like in the 40's? or the 90's? was it in color or B&W? any general idea of the era?
Let me give you an idea of how broad that description was.

If it was a golden oldie, it coulda been Cab for all we know.

And if it was recent, it might have been "Mambo #5" by Lou Bega.

Personally, I would take Cab over Lou.

It was present day, in color and not Lou.

My hope was that someone here might have taken a flight on Frontier around that time and would know what I am talking about.

I know this is vague. I even realize this is a long shot, but I am being optimistic.
