One of my discs has a small crack coming from the centre! Is there something I can repair it with to stop it progressing?

If it still plays, you better rip it and back it up fast. I'm afraid that cd is lost.

And rip it at low speed, otherwise you may even shatter it in your cd drive.

You might be able to glue a CD to the top of it. It will wear the motor on your CD drive, but I think it might keep it together :p

Wow, no offense, but that sounds like an awful idea.

Get some of those "mo-fi" gold CD-R dics and burn a new CD with that clone you made.

I heard that'll make your music sound at least 10x better anyways.

LOL,

Yeah, those claims are so bogus.

CD burning is such a poor technology compared to CD pressing.

I don't think there will be any difference in sound. Why spend the money on a Gold blank when you dont' have to. Just my .02
