hi guys i've got a bit of a nasty pickle here. lastnight i tried out the lastest version of Rockbox -V3.2- i guess using the new auto installer under vista64. install went fine & Rockbox booted as advertized but after building up the database of my tunes -mainly Wav under itunes- most of songs became PECGV or something rather.
to make it short, i then proceeded to uninstall Rocbox using the windows auto installer/uninstaller. things seem to go fine till i pull it out & rebooted. the screen i got is this black screen with the following words...
"Rockbox boot loader
Version: 3.0
IPOD version:0x000B0011
Toshiba MK8010GAH
Partition 1: 0x0B 76193 MB
Loading Rockbox...
Error!
Can't load Rockbox.Ipod:
File not found
Hold MENU+SELECT to reboot
then SELECT+PLAY for disk mode"
however no matter how i reboot i get the above screen and holding SELECT+PLAY gets me nowhere except staring at the above letters.
question:can any Rockbox gurus here help me out (as im totally desperate & at the end of ma ropes) or am i inexplicably inexorably truly madly deeply fawkkk'd??!!!
O forgot to add that its a 5.5g ipod video - thxs
