Listened to my He60 and there seems to be noise, crackling and pops coming from my left channel. Though music still flows out of it.The right's perfectly fine. Is my left channel going "kaput"?

It's not "kaput" but there is some debris stuck inside the driver, causing it to crackle. You have two options, one is to send the phones back to Sennheiser to have the drivers replaced for a fee and the other is to open up the offending driver and to try and dislodge the debris by blowing at the diaphragm carefully. This is not recommended unless you have very steady hands as one slip and the phones are a nice paperweight.
