I love my 598s, but after breaking in the headphones and having the ear pads soften up a bit, the drivers have begun touching my ears.  I've tried adjusting and readjusting how I wear them, but no go.  I've heard there's a good way to mod it so it puts more distance between the ear and driver?

Well, the drivers are a hard plastic and theres no padding over them... My ears start to hurt after wearing them for a while.

I had the same problem with my hd595. I cut a length of coaxial cable and put it underneath the pads. Some people stuff rolled up paper towel or use foam.

So far this paper towel solution has helped me, ty. Just stuffed it in behind the earpads in each side rolled up. TYTY
