Hello,

Just curious to know if anyone has ever seen a pair of David Clark model Clark/300 headphones like this before? I know they are commercial, perhaps aviation headphones but...

The iron cross decals are not cheap stickers, they seem to be applied rather well; the alignment on each side indicates they were not just slapped on hastily either (highly doubt that's factory but interesting none the less).

Any insight, information, clues?

Thanks.

Re: David Clark 300 phones
I believe the red domes indicate a child pair of aviation phones. They did have a pair of stereo phones designed for use with music sources, the 100/dC. They are very decent sounding, but quite heavy, at around 16 ounces. They also grip the head rather tightly, but that is because of their basic original design, intended for use in a noisy cockpit. I think they have a new design, but have never tried it. The pair of 100/dC phones that I own were ought at a yard sale, from the estate of a retired pilot.
Does anyone else have more informed opinions on the 100/dC??
