I just bought a tomahawk amp from Ray on Monday and find that not all cables work with it. For example, with one mini-mini cable, when it's pushed in all the way, I only hear sound on the left side. If I pull it out a tiny bit, I can hear on both sides but it doesn't stay in that position by itself.

Does anyone else have similar experience with the tomahawk? How do I choose a cable that will work with it?

Did you try that cable on something else?
Most likely that cable is fault and not the amp, if you can get proper sound with another IC with the Tomahawk.

I own a Tomahawk and just recently had the same problem. The cable tips on a new cable were a fraction smaller than the ones on my other cables that work fine. This was causing the same problem you described. Try some other cables and see if you can get a better connection.
