Hi guys. I was doing a DIYmod on my ipod 4g the same one burger and blip did.
I accidentaly tore off a solder pad at C86. now i have completed the mod and only the right channel has sound. The left is I would soppose that torn c86 which i did not manage to find alternative pads. Anyone knows any alternative pads for the left channel signal out from the wolfson?

picture taken from KokoKrunch thread : i tore the pad that the white wire is sopposed to be soldered to.

If the pad was connected to a trace on the same side of the board, I guess you could scratch the coating from the trace with a razorblade and solder directly to it...carefully though.

thanks for the reply. how do i go about scratching the coating with the blade..that area of trace is so little and it reaches the chip already. is there another way?
