Currently I have Portaphile V2 that I use with my SR-60's, ER6's and MB Quart QP250 Cans.
For sources I use a 3rd Gen IPOD and a Panasonic SL-SX500 Portable CD Player.
Tonight I got a super deal on a Creative Zen Jukebox 30GB MP3 player.
I love listening to my CD player and thought that if I ripped a bunch of my CD's as WAV files and stored them on the Zen I would have great sound quality. However there is no line out.
Before I open the package on the Zen could someone give me some ideas of the best way to go to achieve the best sound quality.
With the IPOD I could go Apple lossless but with the Zen I could go WAV. If I go with the ZEN I am connecting with the Headphone jack...with the IPOD a PocketDock Line Out.
Finally...for those times that I don't or can't bring my amp...which sounds better...the Zen or my 3rd Gen Ipod. I really don't want to open the new Zen to do a comparison myself.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Ken.
