so, as far as I can tell, the metal INSIDE the rubber on my headband has snapped, and I don't know what to do with it.

I've had the eggos for over a year, so any warranties have expired.

I can take pictures, if that would be more helpful...

Mine snapped as well. So did another guy's on this forum. I replaced the broken wires with some spring steel - but they've never really felt the same. I may try replacing them again this summer with piano wire if I get the time.

Oh - and mine broke UNDER warranty - and I sent them to Sony and they said it was my fault that they broke. Worst customer service EVER.
