Hey guys!

I'm a college student looking into buying a decent pair of headphones for my everyday listening.
I mostly listen to jazz, rock, and classical music. I've been looking for postings with these genres on the forum but haven't really found anything in the sub $100 range. :frowning2:

The phones do need to be portable, and it can't look ridiculous because I'll be traveling around with them.

The Grado SR60i caught my eye, and the Klipsch Image S4s.

What are your opinions on those, and do you guys have any recommendations?

Oh, and I am open to any suggestions for cheap headphone amps!

Thanks a lot!

I have the Grados SR60i's and I love them.

One problem, though, is that the cable is long and thick. I'd recommend that you use twisty ties to roll the length of the cord, but if you don't want to deal with that, then get the Klipsch Image S4s since the cords are shorter and lighter.

I personally chose to just deal with it and use twisty ties.

Thanks! I've heard about that problem, but I don't really mind if the sound quality makes up for it haha.

My biggest concern is how bad is the sound leakage? Do you get any funny looks when walking around just jammin' to your tunes?
