I've been doing a lot of events and have been using passive custom earplugs I bought for $150-200 a few years back. I somehow lost them since I took them out of speak with someone. Sadly, I guess they were 'too good' where it cut too much out.
I am back stateside now and went to the ear doctor and they said they could make a 'musicians custom earplug' they had company called westyn and Stackey (or stockey?) who made:
defendear custom plugs with filters insertarse filters.
The doctor said these would be better since they allow me to hear the music better vs a straight passive one.
Do you guys recommend anything for those if us in the industry / out at high electric concerts/festivals?
